NOT JUST A FASHION SHOW

It was a fashion, music, and hair exposition; inspired by singer Rihanna's Savage x Fenty Fashion Show, which airs on Prime Video.

The Couture & Coiffures VIP pre-show featured guest speakers Shawana Ward of Predominantly Love and Author Jondahlyn Holston, both of whom talked about self-care and resilience. Live performances wowed the crowd by contemporary pole dancer Egypt Shari, musician Maestro the Cellist, and The Vibrations Band.

The main fashion show included a modeling competition, a kids showcase, and a fusion of Black History Month and Valentine's Day with its BLACK LOVE celebration segment. Celebrity guests in attendance were teen super model, author, and humanitarian Eris Aubrie, fashion expert Ron Cooke, Art Institute of Virginia Beach Fashion Merchandising instructor and blogger Tori Jones, and more. The show featured over 40 Models, 16 Musical Artists, 16 Designers, and a hand-painted mural by artist Danielle Brown.

The coordinator and creative director, Chiara Brown-Sinclair, took over as the main organizer from her father, author Anthony Tony' Brown, who wrote, "Don't Leave: 8 Years of Working with Teddy Riley & Future Recording Studios," and credits her love for the entertainment and art industries to him.

Sinclair said that she was awed by the fact that the Savage x Fenty Show featured a collaboration of musical entertainment with runway modeling and dance. She often forgot that she was watching a fashion show, rather than a full performance. Sinclair's goal was to offer her audience an unforgettable experience through entertainment and decorative art, similarly.

She partnered with David "Israel" Leader of Team Lamb, to bring this event to life. Team Lamb brought in many of the performing artists, designers, and set coordinators featured in the show.

Sinclair has a background in modeling and dance since the age of 4 and has participated in multiple fashion shows, music videos, and commercials throughout Hampton Roads. She recently walked in New York Fashion Week and Los Angeles Fashion Week.

In 2022, she was cast in a Modelo promotional event and commercial alongside UFC champion, Justin Gaethje.

Team Lamb is well-known for their community-uplifting events, such as Juneteenth at the Beach, sponsored by the City of Virginia Beach and supported by noteworthy public figures like Mayor Bobby Dyer and Councilwoman Sabrina Wooten. They hosted their affiliated community stage event with Something In The Water in April, their second annual Juneteenth at the Beach Festival, and partnered with RVA Fashion Week and Dapper Luq for their inaugural VA Swimweek event.

The Couture x Coiffures Show was promoted on Sky 4 TV with Coast Live, Living 757 and was covered with an 8-page spread in Richmond's Beauty & Barber Magazine.

Stemming from a background in music, dance and theatrics, the Couture & Coiffures Show was nothing less than epic.
